Your church can take action against child slavery by hosting an Abolition Sunday. It’s a great way for your community to join in with World Vision’s No Child for Sale campaign, which has been sweeping across Canada.
Abolition Sunday is a day for your church to shed light on the problem of child slavery, a reality for the more than 115 million children who work in 3D jobs—dirty, dangerous, and degrading.
Resources are available below to help plan your Abolition Sunday, from sermon notes to Bible studies and more.
If you can take just one action, please sign our petition to end child slavery.
We will present petitions to the Prime Minister’s Office and press the case for a transparent supply chains for goods sold in Canada. It’s one step in our long-term strategy to end the tragedy of child slavery.
Thank you for standing up for children and speaking out on child slavery.
