Oreon Trickey currently serves at LaSalle Street Church in Chicago where she is the Associate Pastor of Congregational Life and the Director of Breaking Bread – a ministry arm of the church serving the homeless community.

She was ordained with the Free Methodist church in 1986 and has been involved in ministry to and with homeless folks for the past 20 years. She has served in leadership roles in numerous urban ministries in the Chicago area such as Olive Branch Ministries, Mission Year and Breakthrough Urban Ministries. She also served as an in-prison seminar leader for Prison Fellowship for 10 years.

Oreon is a singer/songwriter, recording artist and worship leader having released 2 albums of original music.

She has a B.A. in Psychology from Spring Arbor University, an M.A. in Applied Communication from Western Michigan University and a Certification in Spiritual Direction from North Park Theological Seminary, Chicago.
