Featuring Shane Claiborne

UDK - WinnipegAn enthusiastic audience of church leaders gathered this spring in 8 cities across Canada for the Upside Down Kingdom Tour: Doing Church Differently Forum with author and speaker Shane Claiborne.

Shane drew from his experiences with The Simple Way to discuss how the Church can bring some of Heaven to Canada by becoming a Holy Counter Culture and by influencing our neighbourhoods and world through dreaming big and living small.  In typical Claiborne style, he reserved ample time for question and answer, encouraging participants to begin the dialogue and carry it forward together.

What your colleagues said about the event:

‘It was encouraging to see so many ordinary radicals gathered in one place.’

‘It has sparked this question for me: What does it mean for me to be “con carne”… Jesus in the flesh?  Thanks again for a great day.’

‘What a joy to be a part of.  I’m still chewing on what was spoken. So inspiring! I feel a revolution starting in my own life and ministry. Thanks for putting this on folks.’

‘Thank you!!! For inspiring us in the midst of our Struggle!’
